Guest on the Crawlspace Podcast

I am a self-confessed True Crime Addict. If I’m able, I’ll be listening to murderous podcasts back to back or keeping up with the latest trials in the justice system. I’ve always been this way for as long as I can remember. I justify this rather unsavoury addition by assuring myself and others that knowledge is power - if I know everything about all the bad people in the world, they won’t be able to get me or my loved ones. 

One of the podcasts that I never miss is Crawlspace hosted by Tim Pilleri & Lance Reenstierna. I got sucked into a deep-dive series of theirs, ‘Missing Maura Murray’ which covers a well-known missing person case in the US. I was pottering and listening to them interviewing another awesome character Detective Ken Mains who mentioned he was hosting a Cold Case Convention in Albany, New York, where Tim & Lance would be talking on a panel. In my usual gung-ho style, I immediately booked a ticket to New York and attended the convention as a personal guest of Ken’s. I met some big names in True Crime at the convention, including Tim & Lance. A few months later, I was on their podcast!

Tim and Lance do an important job of bringing cases to light and are hugely respected members of this community. We had a lot of fun chatting and it was a real buzz to be invited on.
